Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN ESTER MULOIN Born in Rocky Point, Prince Edward Island on June 12, 1922, passed away at the age of 87 years, in Summerland, BC on October 23, 2009 after a lengthy illness. Jean grew up in Prince Edward Island and met Roland in Moncton, New Brunswick in 1942, marrying shortly after. Their son Bryan was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and as Roland was in the Armed Forces, the family had numerous postings across Canada as well as Europe over the years. Roland and Jean finally retired to the Okanagan Valley in 1972. Jean loved flowers and was an avid gardener. She also enjoyed the challenge of trying her hand at many kinds of crafts. Jean will be deeply missed by Roland, Bryan, her grandchildren, and her sisters; Norma, Florrie and Constance. She was predeceased by her brother Spurgeon. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations may be made in Jean's memory to the Alzheimer Society of BC, South Okanagan/Similkameen, #104 35 Westminster Avenue East, Penticton, BC V2A 1H7. Condolences may be sent to the family c/o hansons@shawcable.com. A Memorial Service was held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 30, 2009 at the Lakeside Presbyterian Church, Summerland, BC, officiated by Reverend Jim Statham.
